BOBBY MAMBO is better known as the singer/guitarist in Cactus
Knife (Brock n Broll Records), White Swallow (Brock n Broll Records)
and bassist in Then Thickens (Hatch Records).
Over the last year he has dedicated his spare time to making a solo EP and
has been doing this at Brock n Broll Recording Studio in Chorley.
The EP is now finished and will be released via Brock n Broll on the
1st July. It is called QUEEN OF THE MAMBO.
The musical influences that made an impact on BOBBY MAMBO during
the creation of this EP include; Air, Bright Eyes, Caribou, The Do, Elliot Smith,
Feist, Jose Gonzalez, The Kinks, Mac Demarco, Notorious BIG,
St. Vincent, Soko and Vaselines.

The EP was recorded, mixed and mastered by Michael Whalley (Grave
Diggers Union) at Brock n Broll Recording Studio which is in Brock n
Broll HQ. It was made during a dozen or so sessions between May 2014
and April 2015

Grave Diggers Union, Then Thickens and White Swallow.
